Dear Atideinu Supporter,

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a full month since we sent out our last email about Atideinu’s COVID-19 response! It is with bittersweet feelings that we put together this second email with updates about our program.

We are delighted that our ZOOM calls have been going so well! We “meet” with the kids for an hour and a half M-Th, twice a week with the boys session and twice a week with the girls session. We sent home brand new bags for Iyar with all of the activities to illustrate our new monthly themes below! We can’t wait for the children to do all these activities “together” as a group. One of our activities is a “make your own foosball table” as we illustrate the value of staying focused on our goals amidst adversity. Another one involves making our own sensory bags out of hair gel and other sensory items. We are excited to explore with the kids how our surroundings make an “impact” on us, just like our hands make an impact on the sensory bags.

This week, we had our first virtual Rosh Chodesh auction. We were glad that we could hear all of the bidding through our ZOOM call and have a large number of prizes to send home in our Sivan bags next month!

Stay tuned for our end of the year newsletter which will contain exciting information about our award ceremony and Chinese Auction.

We wish you and your family a safe and healthy month.

Sincerely,

Chana Perel Handler
